About Rhuddem Gwelin
Rhuddem Gwelin is a retired teacher of English and history in an adult community school.
She has lived in Sweden for more than fifty years, the last twenty-two years in Hallonbergen, a suburb of Stockholm.
She has had a life-long interest in Camelot and Merlin as well as deep concern for the environment and world society. She began writing Protecting Cheesyfee just before retiring and soon realised that she would have to go back and tell the story from the beginning. Thus The Nature of Things, The Wrathful Traveller, An Isle Full of Noises, and the one in the future, Rumbling Echoes of the Elusive Seeds of Time came into being.
The covers of all five volumes are of paintings by her husband, the late artist Hal Berglund.
Rhuddem has also written the book Shakespeare Calling under the name of Ruby Jand. Spoiler: Merlin and Shakespeare meet in An Isle Full of Noises.
Education
In 1972 Rhuddem recieved a bachelor’s degree in studio arts from the University of Minnesota.
Many years later, in 2001, she received a double Master’s in English and History from the University of Stockholm and the following year she received her teaching certificate from the Teacher’s Training College affiliated with the University of Stockholm.
